Hacked! 

Since some mainliner broke into our car and stole my laptop this past spring, I’m a very happy camper about Google Apps’ 2-step verification and application specific passwords (and, of course, the “crazy stories as passwords” metaphor). This longish article explains why you should be using this, too.

PS: Yes, I did use disk encryption. Still, having your Mac stolen makes you change all passwords and still feel creepy.
